We had an amazing group dinner at Yakup2. The atmosphere of this restaurant is so lovely! The mezza were delicious and the service was really impeccable even though the place was packed. It was a cold evening but the balcony was still warm with many heaters working. I can't wait to be back! Also would recommend walking down Istiklal while you're there.

A great reataurant in the hearth of Istanbul. Food is fresh, with light greek and turkish music. Not pricy at all. It is highly recommended if you want to experience a Turkish Raki night. Seabus Marine and shrimp casserole is a must try

We have never had such rude and dismissive service in a restaurant, especially a Turkish one. This is obviously a popular local meet-up, but we (English) were made to feel like unwelcome intruders. Monosyllabic service. Main course arrived 2 minutes after the starters - couldn’t wait to get rid of us. Been coming to Turkey for years and have never experienced anything so bad. Food was very average too.
